Life is Funny...

My blogger friend Wendy has a "Life is Funny" blog carnival each day, week, minute...I don't know. I have ADD and I can't remember. Anyhoo, today I'm participating because my youngest daughter did something funny. And we all need laughs, right?

Sunday in Children's Church, the assignment was to make a turkey drawing and in it, write what they are thankful God has forgiven them for. Here is Peyton's drawing:

In case it's too small to read, it says "I'm thankful God has forgiven me for my family!". Truer words were probably never spoken ;-) Now if you'll excuse me, I have some friends I need to go ask God to forgive me for...

HA!

I love when kids start praying for real not just some memorized prayer. They say the darndest things.

That is precious.
It reminds me of having my second graders write the story of Christmas. I got several essays that included something along the lines of "Mary was there, too..."
Like, gee, ya think?

Marni (or I guess I mean Peyton) - you just got me in trouble at work. I laughed out loud when I saw that picture. Too cute!
