Some of my favorite people ever have October birthdays; my brother, my second mother, my grandmother and Courtney.

This week Nanny and Courtney celebrate their birthdays again in the presence of their Savior, and even though I miss them more than usual this week, the thought of Who they're with brings me more joy than I can explain.

Nanny and Courtney were friends in this life and I'm so happy they are friends in their next life as well. I love you both. Happy Birthday!
