Lindsay just got back from camp at Falls Creek in Oklahmoma. She had a great time. She seems different...more at peace about things. God is awesome! She made some new friends in her youth group and she's excited about that. And of course, she had a blast with old friends too :)

Then on Sunday morning, it was time for Peyton to head off to camp! She goes every summer to Camp Esperanza. It's a summer camp for kids who have or have had cancer. She absolutely loves it! The kids load up on charter busses at Children's Hospital and head down to Camp John Marc in Meridian for a week of fun, swimming, horseback riding and forgetting about doctor and hospital visits.

This year she insisted on lugging her own suitcase into the hospital ;)

Paws Across Texas brought the dogs up to entertain the kids while they waited. You can't really see him, but Peyton is hanging out with a full size black Poodle.

Peyton turned 8 on July 7th. We haven't had her "friend party" yet because it's been crazy. But later this month we're taking her and some friends to Six Flags to celebrate. Aunt Stephanie and future Uncle Greg are coming along to help us corral all the kids!

As if we didn't have enough pets, Lindsay got a new kitten for her birthday. She named him Johnny Cash...but he goes by Cash :) Our other cat Sushi wasn't too sure about him at first, but now they are the best of friends.

Also, here is a sampling of our exciting Friday nights :) We got Rockband and have been having a blast with it!!

After a while, Darren, Dane and I quit sharing Rockband ;) so Colton gave it up and took a nap and Lindsay resigned herself to laying on the floor and playing her DS.
