Take It Back Ya'll Part IV

For the last four years, the Irving Police Association in conjunction with Make A Wish puts on a benefit golf tournament. We have gone every year since its inception. This year, we stayed at a really nice hotel and made a family overnight vacation out of it. Lindsay and Peyton were in rare form at the hotel and Peyton insisted she and Lindsay pose for this "Gangsta" picture since they were both in hoodies!! ;)

Adrienne came out and helped us work the tournament.

Lindsay, Peyton, Ade and I worked the first hole. We sold raffle tickets, gave away candy and it was a great chance for all the participants to meet a real Wish child and give to such a great cause.

Adrienne is a pro golfer. For a donation, she would take the shots for anyone who wanted to better their score. It was so funny to see her out-drive the men on the course!

Steve Farish is the organizer of the tournament. He and Peyton have become good friends in the last 4 years. He always lets her help him draw for the raffle tickets.

Okay, there is a sampling of the last few months of our lives. I hope to have Halloween pictures up before Christmas ;) Have a great week!

Our friend Adrienne came and stayed with us in between golf tournaments and going to Q School (Qualifying School). Ade is working on getting her LPGA card :)

We went on a family field trip with Peyton's class to Dinosaur State Park in Glen Rose

Take It Back Ya'll Part II

Visiting Keith's new church. Sadly, this is the only pic I got :(

But we did get to see my niece and nephew since they live in Round Rock. Spencer wasn't in town yet, but we did have lunch with Heath and Hayley.

Take It Back Ya'll, Part I

Okay, as you know, I've been whining for months now because I lost my cord to the camera that lets me download my pics from the camera. And since I'm so forgetful, I almost NEVER remember to get my pictures transfered to a CD so I can upload them. Today, I did!!! So...I'm taking it back to August with our fun Labor Day weekend with our cousins and friends and working my way up from there. And ignore the dates on the pictures...they're off since I keep forgetting to change the settings on my camera ;) Enjoy!

Happy 18th Colton!!!

Getting ready to take the kids tubing!

Go Peyton!!

This one needs a little explaining :) The boat was pulling up to the dock to drop off the kids and pick up the teenagers to take them out skiing. Dane cousin Greg was throwing Dane the rope to tie the boat off and Dane missed the rope. He reached a little too far out, and into the lake he went!! I had the camera in my hand, but missed the actual falling in shot ;)
